Policy

A Message Regarding the COVID-19 Public Health Crisis

To Our Clients, 

 

At JNM Wellness, we are committed to the safety of our clients and their families. We are implementing stringent measures to minimize the risk for everyone during the COVID-19 public health crisis. In addition to our in-office appointments, services are currently being offered in virtual and outdoor formats to provide alternative options for our clients. This setup will continue to be available for the foreseeable future. 

 

We are also implementing new policies for in-office and outdoor sessions to ensure safety for everyone.

As we return to in-person services, we will be putting into effect new guidelines for infection control within our space.
 

We will be taking the following measures:

· Furniture will be positioned to ensure at least 2m of space at all times

· All high touch surfaces will be disinfected between clients

· Art supplies and toys will be limited and disinfected if used

· Self-screening will be required prior to the appointment

· Sessions will be rescheduled or moved to telehealth if there are symptoms or possible exposure

· Alcohol based hand sanitizer will be provided

· Physical distancing protocols will be in place throughout the building

· The waiting room will be closed

· Building common areas will be cleaned at more frequent intervals

· Contactless entry into the building will be provided (no need to touch doors)

· Others may not accompany clients to appointments (unless under specific circumstances)

· Beverages will not be offered at this time

 

The following policies will apply for outdoor sessions: 

 

· Outdoor services will only be scheduled for low-risk clients (to be determined by our staff)

· Outdoor services will only be provided when it is clinically appropriate

· Self-screening will be required prior to the appointment

· Sessions will be rescheduled or moved to telehealth if there are symptoms or possible exposure

· Physical distancing will be maintained at all times

· Others may not accompany clients to appointments (unless under specific circumstances)

· Cash will no longer be accepted – payment can be made by e-transfer or credit/debit
