Life can be tough, but you don’t have to face it alone. My name is Emelie and I am passionate about supporting children, adults, and families as they navigate challenges and work towards healing and self-discovery. My approach is centered on creating a safe, nurturing environment where you can feel heard, understood, and supported.
Some of my main areas of focus include:
Trauma & abuse
Children & youth counselling
Anxiety
Eating disorders
Interpersonal relationships
Life transitions
Stress/burnout
I specialize in helping children and teens cope with a variety of concerns while working collaboratively with families to create effective strategies for communication, emotional regulation, and relationship building. My therapeutic approach draws from a combination of evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Polyvagal Theory, all tailored to each person's unique needs. I aim to build a trusting relationship and provide children and adults with the tools and coping strategies they need to heal, grow, and thrive.
I am committed to helping young clients develop resilience, self-awareness, and confidence as they navigate life’s challenges. Together, we can work toward a brighter, healthier future for your child and family.
