Meghan Costello, MACP
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
In our work together you can expect to feel supported, respected, and safe. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship to create a space for growth and healing. I strongly believe that everyone has the capacity to change and heal, and I approach therapy with openness, empathy, and respect.Every individual is unique and comes to therapy with their own lived experiences; therefore, I tailor my approach to meet each person's unique needs. My therapeutic style is integrative, drawing from several modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness based approaches.
Some of my main areas of focus include:
Trauma & abuse
Anxiety
Depression
Couples counselling
Relationship & family issues
Self-esteem & body image
Gender identity
Burnout
Self-discovery & establishing purpose
My work in gender-based violence has given me the ability to work with a variety of age groups and address unique needs. This work has also provided me with experience in addressing relationship issues, identifying healthy and unhealthy behaviors, and understanding the impacts of trauma on individuals and families.
I emphasize strength building, self-love, and compassion in my practice, helping you to navigate life's challenges and achieve meaningful change.
